The Collectorate of custom shares, with great satisfaction, the joy over Faisalabad Dry Port's phenomenal progress. The progress is commendable. Bright beginning promises prosperous future. All credit for this goes to  Mr. Shahzad Ali Siddiqui, Chairman and other members of the Faisalabad Dry Port Trust.

Now Faisalabad Dry Port Trust appears to have over came the teething problems, it should be ready to enter into 21st century. Being new, The port still has to build whole lot of infrastructure. Its growth and expansion should, therefore, be planned and made keeping in view the challenges of electric era. The port may not be left to lag behind today's fastest paced trade world.

I am sure the port will cater to the ever growing needs of the business community of Faisalabad. I hope it would help boost not only exports the textile but would also contribute for the development of other exports from the area. Faisalabad dry Port has equally tremendous potential as an import station which, however, has not been trapped. I wish the available facilities are fully utilized on the import side as well to spur the activity of the region.
